Stroll around the Ahvenlampi Pond! Explore Luosto’s beautiful nature independently with a short walk. The easy route around Ahvenlampi Pond departs from a point located only 400 metres from the hotel. The route travels around the pond and has a total length of only 1.6 kilometres. In the winter months you can also walk on top of the frozen pond. In fact, the pond is one of the best places in Luosto for viewing the Northern Lights in the evening!

Sledging among friends for all who are children at heart! On the right side of Luosto’s downhill skiing slopes is a sledging hill that provides plenty of thrills for adults and children alike. Borrow your own Arctic Eye sledge from the hotel reception desk and let the snow fun begin.

The Arctic Eye experience cannot guarantee you will see the phenomena of the Arctic skies, but offers guests the opportunity to experience the phenomena in Luosto, Finnish Lapland.
